Fan Characters

"Fan characters," for lack of a better term, is just how I'm choosing to refer to original characters that I've created who live in settings that I did not create. That means characters I've made up for books I like, video game protagonists, or any weird gray area of original characters for non-original stories. I don't do this as often as I used to, but I was all about that fan character life when I was a kid and I find it really nostalgic when I do it now.
